Electrons and Gasoline must run in Dave Hobbs’ blood because he has literally grown up in the auto electric business. After 20 years of full time wrenching in the family garage in Kokomo Indiana, he joined GM’s Delco Electronics Division (now Delphi) as a technical adviser and training instructor. As an instructor for Delphi, Dave has traveled throughout the world training Delphi engineers in automotive systems technology. In a dual role serving also as a technical adviser for Delphi, Dave has assisted thousands of service techs via the phone lines over the past 20 years.

Dave has also served as an instructor for Indiana’s Ivy Tech Community College, Sun Electric, MACS, ASA and Linder Technical Services. He has worked with Auto-Video Inc in the making of several automotive training videos including his personal favorite…”F.R.E.D. Takes The Bus”… a technical training program on vehicle serial data bus communications. Dave is ASE certified and a member of SAE and IATN. He and his wife Teresa have three children and live in Kokomo, Indiana. When not involved in automotive related endeavors, Dave keeps busy working in various Christian ministries including a radio program broadcast weekly on WZWZ Radio. (92.5 FM)
